LEVEL FIVE
Students study the disciplines of ballet in an encouraging and non-competitive environment. Placement in this class requires the assessment of the student by a teacher. One dance and costume is included in this class, but many more dances are available for students to choose from off the Dance Menu. There is opportunity for dedicated students to earn roles as main characters or featured dancers. Dancers who have been cleared to pursue pointe work may add the Pointe class to their tuition, which runs directly after Level 5 classes. Students at this level are required to take two classes a week to support the rigor required for success in pointe work.

DRESS CODE
As an advanced class, these students are given the freedom to choose their own leotard and skirt, so long as skirts are sheer and no more than mid-thigh length. No leggings or sweaters that cover the waist are allowed, even during warm-up. Students are asked to wear bottoms which provide contrast at the waist, allowing teachers to tell whether hips are lifted or level even from across the room. Several dancewear options are available to choose from in our Studio Store.
